  5. Hey world.
We are in love with this beer from Haandbryggeriet called Røyk Uten Ild (Smoke Without Fire). It’s close enough to be our namesake. This beer is totally amazing so try it if you can find it.

  8. Thanks Melbourne!

Hey interebs! A big thanks goes out to Melbourne for showing us some amazing hospitality over the weekend just gone. It was our first time in Melbourne and something that we have wanted to do for such a long time. We played at The Old Bar on Friday with local bands These Hands and The Nest Itself both who put on great shows. We were also lucky enough to play with our long time friends Ballads (exceptional dudes who also started out in Newcastle but are now based in Melbourne).

On Saturday we headed to 3CR Community Radio in the evening for an appearance on the radio show “Let Your Freak Flag Fly” which is hosted by Michael Smith for both a live set of 5 songs (which was a first for us) and an interview. Playing live on the radio was really fun. It felt like it we half way between playing a gig and recording in a studio. Something that we would definitely like to do again.

We are hoping to get back to Victoria soon. Keep your ear to the ground.

    Peace,

    Lander.
